What is God’s Grace? I have received God’s Grace several times in my life. I write about God’s Grace as I understand it based on my direct experiences. Grace is when Gods love is received by a child of God when that child takes inspired actions that demonstrate Faith in God. Gods’ goodness is abundant and waits patiently for the children to turn and seek God. In my life, I first became aware of God’s grace when I was 18 years old and in prison. I was sentenced to 2 years, and I thought my life was over. At that time, I turned my life over to God since I had nobody else that could help me. I was earnest and sincere and sought to know and understand God. I prayed daily for a new heart because I knew my heart was wicked, and I prayed for wisdom because I knew I did not know how to be good. My prayer was heard, and grace was extended. By the time I left prison I was different, and the transformation was apparent to anyone who knew me. I had a good selfless heart and wisdom to guide me to be good. As I moved through my adult life, I received Grace repeatedly when I walked by faith and focused on “doing the right thing” that I knew in my heart was right.
When I had hypnotherapy in 2019 it woke me up to my inner light and got me back on the path to seeking God. What I have found since is that God observes and awaits without judgement. When I started meditating in 2019 my mind was full of fear. I learned to sit with my mind in meditation and to surrender fear to the holy spirit repeatedly, it was God’s grace that would answer my player to take the fear from me. I felt it little by little with each effort I made to sit with my mind and surrender fear. In those moments, a subtle blissful electrical charge would go through me, and I would feel better each time. After about 12 months of determined meditation and seeking I was free of fear. The anxiety I had my entire life was now gone by Gods Grace. As I continued my path I noticed a pattern. Whenever I take inspired actions based on self-love or service to others, I do not walk alone. In these moments, I am provided with whatever is needed for love to be honored. God’s Grace awaits those who take inspired actions in alignment with self-love, self-acceptance, self-forgiveness and service to others.
Our perception of God’s Grace is limited only by our belief in being worthy of it. After 2 years of working on myself and re-programming my mind from fear to love I realized I was worthy, and in the moment, when I had that thought and meant it, the spirit of God affirmed to me my worthiness within. When I was seeking a purpose for my life, my heart spoke and told me to become a healer. It was God’s Grace that waited for me to take actions, and when I did a way was always made. At this point in my life, I see it clearly. We each have limited beliefs about ourselves and life. These beliefs are like a ring of fear or limitation that surrounds a person. Most people will not step through their ring of fear and limitation, and they won’t grow or experience much in terms of Grace. For those with courage enough to walk by faith and step through their perceived ring of fear and limitation in the spirit of love and service will always receive Grace. Every step toward love and service is a step toward God and is rewarded. This is Grace.
If you work to become more Christlike and approach God your efforts are noticed and God’s Grace is extended. When you match your will to Gods will for you, Grace is extended, and you can accomplish whatever you dream. If you are seeking God’s Grace, I encourage you to pray and sit with your heart and ask. What is it that I need to do to demonstrate in my life that I am worthy of self-love or of providing a loving service to another. If you can’t feel worthy of it, then you are lacking courage and need to address that first. Pray for courage and inspiration in your heart. Surrender your fear as I did repeatedly with confidence that God’s Grace merely waits for you to take and actions that are in alignment with love. When you do that, you will always be supported. That is the beauty of God’s Grace.
